Bottled Water

II Timothy 2:21 If a man, therefore, purges himself from these things, he shall be a vessel unto honor, sanctified, and profitable for the master's use, and prepared unto every good work. Have you ever marveled at some of these ministries that exceptional men have built? We know that they have loads charisma and intellect, frankly, I wish I had half as much charisma and intellect as some of these great generals of the Lord. But we are all vessels made for the Lord’s use, some are small and some are huge and we all hold the same oil, the oil of the Holy Spirit. I used to deliver bottled water for a living, the water bottles came in many different sizes; 16 oz, half- gallons, one-gallons, thre

Psalm 34:8 O taste and see that the LORD is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him. I find it interesting that King David used the word: taste in describing how to discover the Lord. We, humans, have five senses and David uses two senses in this one verse. Ironically, the first sense used is taste, but how often have you ever deployed your sense of taste before your sense of sight? Or your sense of smell before you taste something? The words are so beautiful, pouring out from his heart or were they pouring out from his circumstances? Before this, in his flight from King Saul, David unbelievably went to the Philistine King of Gath for help, which wasn’t the best of ideas. Gath was the very city that Goliath was from and Goliath was the giant that David killed. Goliath was the king of Gath’s prize warrior. Trying to escape David pre

Luke 1:1-4 Forasmuch as many have taken in hand to set forth in order a declaration of those things which are most surely believed among us, Even as they delivered them unto us, which from the beginning were eyewitnesses, and ministers of the word; It seemed good to me also, having had perfect understanding of all things from the very first, to write unto thee in order, most excellent Theophilus That thou mightest know the certainty of those things, wherein thou hast been instructed. Luke, Mathew, & Mark are called the synoptic gospels which means: “Seeing the whole together at a glance.” Luke is considered ‘The human gospel.’ Luke portrays Jesus Christ as God and Man.
