Now, read this again, but this time try inserting your name at the very beginning and read it out- Loud: _____ For all the promises in Him are yes! and So be it! A Word to Run with Today

Mar 11:22 And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God. Mar 11:23 For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. Mar 11:24 Therefore I say unto you, What things so ever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them. Mar 11:25 And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any : that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses. Mar 11:26 But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in

The Prayer of Faith

James 5: 13-16 13 Is any among you afflicted? let him pray. Is any merry? let him sing psalms. 14 Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord: 15 And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him. 16 Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. Bruised Reeds

Isaiah 42:3 A bruised reed shall he not break, and the smoking flax shall he not quench: he shall bring forth judgment unto truth. What exactly is a Bruised Reed? Reeds are found in the middle east and they grow 3 to 5 feet tall. They’re hollow in the middle and are related to sugar cane, (even though sugar cane has a solid core.) Egyptians considered reeds to be a symbol of grace. During mid-afternoon when the temperatures climb, they slump over and as the day cools off, they raise back up. I’ve read that it's pleasant to sit and watch this in the afternoons. This type of hollow reed makes a good flute, flutes that lasted for generations. A shepherd boy could have a flute made by his grand

Quiet Hope

Lamentations 3: 21- 26 This I recall to my mind, therefore have I hope. It is of the LORD'S mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness. The LORD is my portion, saith my soul; therefore will I hope in him. The LORD is good unto them that wait for him, to the soul that seeketh him. It is good that a man should both hope and quietly wait for the salvation of the LORD. The book of Lamentations, Jeremiah penned this in 586 B.C.. Jeremiah the prophet in his grief sought a place to mourn as he watched the army of the Chaldeans destroy Jerusalem and the Temple Mount. He landed here at this place, a rock formation that had
