                                                                     Mission Statement

     Heart and Purpose

Scott Coy Ministries is centered on helping people encounter God’s truth and compassion in practical, everyday ways. SCM blends a background in psychology, pastoral care, and chaplaincy with a strong biblical foundation. We carry a passion for teaching, preaching, counseling, and walking alongside people in their deepest needs, whether that’s in the church, in hospitals, assisted living, nursing homes, or community settings, or hospice care. Our sincere desire is to help other Christians and ministries reach the summit. By inviting new ministries and even sometimes new Christians share their faith on live radio broadcasts. Everyone has a story to tell, and that story could lead someone else into the family. We believe in miracles and love to see the Holy Spirit bring credit to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

     Outreach and Teaching

  • Preaching & Teaching: We deliver sermons and Bible based lessons that emphasize truth, discernment, and preparation for the return of Christ. We focus on making Scripture clear and practical for modern life, while also warning against false teachings and deceptions. We believe the written word is truth and we preach it in love and not judgement.

  • Broadcast Ministry: Through our radio program Prayer Stop on the Air (and now our ongoing show on WGNS in Murfreesboro), we extend our gospel ministry to a broad audience, offering encouragement, biblical teaching, prayer, and guest interviews.

     Writing and Resources

  • Author: Chaplain Coy wrote Who is God? The Hebrew Names of God, a devotional book that took years to complete and reflects a lifetime of ministry and study.

     Chaplaincy and Pastoral Care

  • Chaplaincy Calling: Chaplain Coy is preparing to serve as a community chaplain, bringing care and presence into hospitals, hospices, assisted living facilities, and nursing homes. Chaplaincy is an extension of Christ’s ministry, meeting people in moments of crisis, sickness, and transition with compassion and spiritual support.

  • Counseling: With a psychology background, we combine professional understanding of mental health with biblical wisdom to care for people holistically; mind, body, and spirit.

     Community Presence

Digital & Personal Outreach: We extend our reach through chaplaincoy.com, where we share updates, resources, and ministry opportunities.

                                                                                                                                                                                     Overall Description

Our ministry is best described as a Christ centered outreach that combines preaching, teaching, counseling, chaplaincy, and writing to bring encouragement, truth, and spiritual care to individuals and communities. It’s marked by compassion, integrity, and a heart to serve both the church and the missions.
