How Close?

Genesis 5:24 And Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him. Enoch is one of the most mysterious men in the Bible, or so we think. Enoch was the fifth descendant from Adam or the sixth man. His name meant: ‘Teaching’ and based on his genealogical birth position, he was the sixth man. God created man on the sixth day and numerically six is considered man’s number. God the Father, Jesus the Son, and The Holy Spirit are one. A combination of three which numerically represents The Godhead. Also, on the third day, God created dry land, the herb yielding seed, the fruit tree yielding fruit after its own kind. This combination of three combined with man’s number can later be seen in:

Don’t Let The Trap Fool You

Ezekiel 33:12 Therefore, thou son of man, say unto the children of thy people, The righteousness of the righteous shall not deliver him in the day of his transgression: as for the wickedness of the wicked, he shall not fall thereby in the day that he turneth from his wickedness; neither shall the righteous be able to live for his righteousness in the day that he sinneth. We all need to be brought into remembrance, about the consequences of sin. Many of us think that we can escape our sin because we have lived so well in the past, but God doesn’t see it that way. Here, He clearly lets us know that His standard is this; A sinful person who has not known God, will be forgiven if they turn to Go

Seasoned With Grace

Hebrews 13:8-9 Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and today, and forever. Be not carried about with diverse doctrines. For it is a good thing that the heart be established with grace; not with meats, which have not profited them that have been occupied therein. Do you know what it’s like to be affected by the grace of the gospel? Jesus stands alone never changing, willing to sacrifice His life for yours, and He would do it again if it were only you. The Holy Spirit just told me: “Grace personified,” which means Jesus was grace in human form. We tend to complicate our lives, adding rules that really don’t add anything to enrich ourselves, but rather they limit the joy we can have as a Christian
