Your Father's Calling July 9

II Corinthians 1:20-21

For all the promises of God in Him are yea, and in Him Amen, unto the glory of God by us.

Now He which stablisheth us with you in Christ, and hath anointed us, is God.

Now, reread this, but this time insert your name at the beginning and read it out loud: _____ _____ For all the promises in Him are yes! and So be it!

It’s ok to personalize your word of God. I’m sure He wants it that way. His answer is yes, and your fulfilled calling in God brings Glory to Him. How can your life bring glory to God? Regardless of age, God has a plan for you, and Your delay does not catch him off guard. It will be a more remarkable testimony to God if you take hold of your promise.

Now He which stablisheth us...

Paul is speaking about the Holy Spirit, who brought you to Christ, Christ brings you to the Father, and the Father anoints you. Anoint in Greek means: To furnish what is needed.

You may have a lifetime of skills and abilities stored up in your life experiences, and they will probably all be needed for your task. Ask the Lord: “What do you want me to be in this period of my life for you?” I promise He will answer.
