Record Heat December 3

2 Peter 3:10

But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.

How loud do you think it will be when God removes the heavens? Everything is going to go through the fire, and fire removes all the excess.

I mentioned to a friend once that I didn’t want to mark a book up, and he laughed and said, “It really doesn’t matter it’s all going to be burned to ash one day anyway.”

Although there are books that I still value too much to write in, I thought that is an excellent way to look at things.

‘Things’ they can get a hold of you if you let them, and after a few years, you can have so much stuff that it just gets overbearing.

Works for the Lord will also be placed in the fire, and what is left over will be your reward. I listened to a lady that had a vision of this prophecy. She said a famous evangelist had all his books placed on a fire pit by an angel, and the books burned to ashes with no reward.

She said there were thirty-five books, and the reason he did not get a reward was because he wrote them with the wrong motives. Our motives and works for the Lord will be refined, Through fire.
