God’s Love

John 3:16

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

As Christians, we often think about the ultimate sacrifice that Jesus gave for us, he went to the cross for our redemption. I've heard it preached before, 'That no nail could have held Jesus to the cross, it was His love for mankind that kept Him there. But it was the Father's love that sent Him here.

It's hard to imagine or even understand Father God's love for us. We can see His love described in Psalm 36:5 Your steadfast love, O Lord, is as great as all the heavens. Your faithfulness reaches beyond the clouds.

Nothing catches God by surprise; when He created the angels, He knew where it would lead, He knew there would be a great rebellion, and He fore-knew He would have to redeem a fallen man. With all my years in the Lord and the magnitude of what God did, I still struggle to grasp and comprehend His unfailing love. This next verse is hard to grasp because we live in a three-dimensional world and have a material mindset. The only way I can accept it is by faith, understanding that only divinity can explain and comprehend God's, ultimate unfailing love:

John 1:1, In the beginning, was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

Jesus Christ is God.

He is: El-Moshaah

The God Who Saves
