True Dat September 29

1John 3:3

And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as He is pure.

It seems like every man struggles with hope. Hope defines us for who we are. The word hope comes from the Greek translation, el-pece´, which means: expectation or confidence: - faith, hope.

People can easily place their hope in the wrong things. Every belief you have is trust-based; someone or a source that you trusted shared some information or taught you on a subject, with or without rationale, you placed your belief (i.e., faith) in the information given.

Here’s an example: Take Darwinism; through media, you’re constantly being inundated with the Theory of biological evolution if you trust the person or the program delivering the information, you can easily be deceived into believing this end-time lie.

On the other edge of the sword is the Word of God. Some people find the truth through careful study of the written word; others, Jesus finds them. When someone encounters Jesus Christ through a miracle or an answered prayer, they are no longer at the losing end of the debate because “a person with an experience is not at the mercy of someone with an argument.” Jesus said in:

John 8:31-32

Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed;

And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

I pray that you will be free., and your hope placed in Jesus Christ.
