Stand Still and Find Your Answer June 23
And Moses said unto them, stand still, and I will hear what the Lord will command concerning you.
Have you ever gotten yourself into a situation and you don't know what to do? Moses learned this approach, stand still and listen to what God has to say about it. It can be challenging to stand still when all the world's stresses are hitting you at the same time. Every customer wants the same product now, and you can't seem to deliver. Take a moment and ask God how to get the job done.
You will be amazed at what He can suggest. More often than not, the solution is in your possession, and stress is hindering you.
Once I was changing some brakes on my car, but the new brake pads would not fit, I prayed, but still, I couldn't figure it out. Finally, I just took a break and had a ham sandwich, and then it came to me, the cylinder must not be depressed all the way. I had this idea to use a clamp I had in the shop for woodworking and a piece of wood, and it worked.
It was a good sandwich, but I doubt the idea came from between two slices of bread. I had taken a moment to relax, and that allowed God to give me the idea.
Take a moment to ask God, get quiet with Him, and He will answer.
