The Miracle of Prophecy May 18
Acts 19:11 And God wrought special miracles by the hands of Paul
While in Haiti, I was invited to speak at a Christian University. At first, they asked me to speak words of encouragement, then the day before I arrived, they asked me to tell them about miracles I’ve seen.
For some reason, I could not remember any miracles; maybe it was due to stage fright? I’ve witnessed so many miracles over the years I have probably forgotten half of them.
The following day before I went to speak, I asked the Lord to help me remember some of the miracles I’ve seen. He spoke to me and said: “It’s not about the miracles you’ve seen; it’s about the miracles you possess!”
What an awesome God we serve! You see, God is not about yesterday; He is about today. If you don’t ask for a miracle, you probably won’t see it. If you’re a born-again believer and baptized in the Holy Spirit, you possess miracle-working power.
Miracle-working power, you can’t buy it, that’s for sure, but you can readily have it.
So, I asked Him what He wanted me to say to the students?
He said: “Impart to some, and prophecy to the others.”
Act 19:6 And when Paul had laid his hands upon them, the Holy Spirit came on them, and they spoke in tongues and prophesied.
It was truly marvelous! I prayed for every student in the
chemistry class that day, and every student received a
prophetic word from God.
