What Do You See In Me? May 17

Mathew 5:3-11 Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of the heavens.

Blessed are those that mourn, for they shall be comforted.

Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth.

Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be satisfied.

Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy.

Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.

Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called the sons of God.

Blessed are those who suffer persecution for righteousness' sake, for theirs is the kingdom of the heavens.

Blessed are ye when men shall revile you and persecute you and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely for my sake.

Recently the Lord asked me, “What do you see in Me?” I really didn’t know how to respond, so I simply said: “Thou knowest Lord.”

The Lord showed me an image of myself passing out rice to the very poor and praying with them. Then He said: “What you see In Me is what you become.”

What do you see in Jesus? Do you see a harsh judge, who will judge the sins of the world?

Do see Jesus as the one overcoming temptations who defeats the devil?

Do you see Him as your protector, your provider, your Savior, or the one Who blesses?

So why would I ask so many questions?

Because if you believe these things, you will become the one that blesses the poor in spirit and assures them that the kingdom of heaven is theirs.

You will bless those who mourn, and you will comfort them.

You will be gentle, and you will inherit the earth.

You will bless those who hunger and thirst for righteousness because they will be filled by your words.

You will bless others by being merciful.

You will become pure in heart and you will see God.

You will become the peacemaker and be called the sons of God.

You will be persecuted but the kingdom of heaven will be called yours.
