For we know that even the things of nature, like animals and plants, suffer in sickness and death as they await this great event. All around us we observe a pregnant creation. The difficult times of pain throughout the world are simply birth pangs. But it's not only around us; it's within us. The Spirit of God is arousing us ...

While I was out at a homeless camp, a Pitbull dog came up and greeted me, and he was very friendly a loyal companion to his homeless owners. I thought about this verse as I was there, petting this animal talking to the people. It's not his fault that this world is such a mess. How have the animals taken the brunt of the fall? But this animal will remain loyal and continue to be a best friend to his owners, and it's his calling.

If only I could be as good a person as my pets think that I am! Oh, wretched saint that I am! But there's hope yet! Romans 8:26 And like wise also the Spirit helps our weakness; for we know not how to pray as we ought, but the Spirit itself makes entreaty for us with groaning's which cannot be uttered. With the power of the Holy Spirit, we don't always know what to

pray for; how can we? Who knows what's going to happen within the next hour or the following year, for that matter. It's so easy for everything to crash & find yourself living under a bridge. I

pray it will never happen to you. When you pray in the Holy Spirit, He knows what to pray for and what lays ahead, the possible destruction that He intercedes for on your behalf, what a

wonderful God we serve!
