Hard Times May 11

Psalm 34:19 Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the LORD delivereth him out of them all. KJV

Psalm 34:19 Adonai is close to the brokenhearted and saves those crushed in spirit. TLV

Let's break down some of these words to get a complete understanding of this promise and what this life insurance policy covers.

Many: The word 'Many' really covers all the types of hardships. Abundant (in quantity, size, age, number, rank, quality)

Afflictions: Bad or evil, adversity, calamity, displeasure, distress, exceedingly grievous, harm, heavy hurt, misery, noisome, sore, sorrow, trouble, vex, wicked, wretchedness, wronged.

Righteous: Just, lawful, honest (person).

Delivereth: To snatch away, to defend, escape, without fail, part, pluck, preserve, recover, rescue, save, surely, take (out).

All: Simply put, it covers everything.

Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

Hebrews chapter 11 is called the "Chapter of Faith" or "The Hall of Faith" this chapter is meant to encourage you when you're going through hard times. To see what others endured for a promise.

Regardless of what you do for God, without faith, it is impossible to please Him. You will face situations where you must practice faith to please Him.

I know the WWQ approach; I've done it before, The Wimpy, Whiny & Quit. I probably had a gold belt in it. It's nothing I'm proud of.

I know when problems hit, and sometimes you think, Again? Really? But you'll never take a mountain top for Christ until you have learned to conquer the hills, & in all of my years, I have never seen a sword with a rearview mirror on it.

Job 36:15 He delivers the poor in their affliction.

He Is: Elohim Yare
