Recipe for a Good Life April 19

Jeremiah 7:23

But this thing commanded I them, saying, Obey My voice, and I will be your God, and ye shall be my people: and walk ye in all the ways that I have commanded you, that it may be well unto you.

If Betty Crocker had a recipe for living a good life, this would be it. A bible promise from God extended to everyone.

I can see someone going through hardship reading this verse, and they lift their head with hope. Hope; to desire with expectation of obtainment or fulfillment.

One time years ago, while I was praying, I was thinking about how fleeting life is. It is short, and I felt like, by the time I learned all this, that there wouldn’t be time to accomplish what needs to get done. Then the Holy Spirit spoke to me and said: “I can do a lot in a lifetime, Scott.”

It doesn’t matter where your starting point is with God; He can do a lot with your life; why not let Him start today?
