Be ye Thankful

Colossians 3:15-16

And let the peace of YAHUAH rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful. Let the word of HAMASHICH dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to YAHUAH.

Maybe Paul knew what he was saying when he wrote: “Be ye thankful.” When you start giving ‘Thanks’ for what you have it’s hard to focus in on your problems. Problems bring you down but, Thankfulness lifts you up.

You know God is so awesome, what can you ever pay Him back with? He has provided everything you have, and in return, He asks for a simple payment, a Thank you. In our world payments decrease, but in God’s economy you end up getting the reward.

When you’re thankful, you will be well favored. Thankfulness goes up but it comes back down. I’ve never thought of it this way until now.

I took the liberty of amplifying this verse, to show you how much is connected to thankfulness.

And let the peace (freedom from disturbance, quiet and tranquility) of YAHUAH (The LORD, MY DELIVERER) rule (exercise ultimate power and authority over you) in your hearts (your thoughts, feelings and mind), to the which also ye are called (by a loud voice that can be heard from a distance, making a demand, to utter a characteristic) in one body (your body, the Temple of the Holy Spirit); and be ye thankful (well favored, grateful). Let the word (The Divine expression, That is the Messiah, cause communication, expression, concerning doctrine, intent, the matter of preaching, reckon) of HAMASHICH (The Anointed, The Messiah) dwell (to inhabit) in you richly (copiously, in a large amount, abundantly) in all wisdom (knowledge that is gained by having many experiences in life, the natural ability to understand things that most people cannot understand, knowledge of what is proper or reasonable, a good sense of judgement); teaching and admonishing (to put in minds a sense of caution, to gently reprove) one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts (your thoughts, feelings and mind) to YAHUAH (The LORD, MY DELIVERER).

Thankfulness will cause the Word to rise up in you and dwell richly, now that’s worth being Thankful!

“THE LORD: I AM HE who avenges, defends, delivers, helps, preserves, rescues, saves, brings salvation, your Savior, who brings you to victory. THE ANOINTED MESSIAH”
