We are confident Febraury 16
I Corinthians 15:55-57
“O Death, where is your sting? O Hades, where is your victory?”
The sting of death is sin, and the strength of sin is the law.
But Thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
Death, it doesn’t get much more serious. I’m pretty confident in saying that Jesus’s victory on the cross is the complete answer to this topic. Death couldn’t kill him, and the grave couldn’t hold him, simple as that.
I’ve read and heard testimonies of Christians that have died, came back to life and said things like, “Don’t fear death because I didn’t feel a thing!”
2 Corinthians 5:8
We are confident, yes, well pleased rather to be absent from the body and to be present with the Lord.
The word absent in Greek means: To emigrate, to vacate, or be absent.
I love the word emigrate; it means to leave one’s own country to migrate to another. In this case, it would be your own body or a tent which is your tabernacle. A tabernacle is a movable place of worship, and as a Christian, we are temporarily stationed here on earth until we get to go home to the ultimate place of worship, the Throne room of God!
When a Christians leave this plain, The Holy Spirit just now told me this, "Be blessed in the loss of a loved one," He will welcome them into His sanctuary.

* "Be blessed in the loss of a loved one," This was told to me by the Holy Spirit, when I reached this point.
