The God Who Hears January 28

Psalm 34:15

The eyes of the Lord are upon the righteous, and His ears are open to their cry.

When you first start off reading this it sounds a little spooky if you don’t know what He’s talking about. We could probably have said the watchful protective eyes of the Lord are upon us.

I’ve had a few encounters with demons over the years and believe me they are nothing that you want to look at. Fear is their biggest strength, as well as their biggest lie. One time when I woke up in the middle of the night there was a demon standing next to me, I was so scared I could not even say the name of Jesus. I just kept saying “J!” “J!” trying to say Jesus. But while I was doing this that demon took off around the end of my bed and like a blur it shot off out of the house! Judy woke up and shouted “Jesus!” What utterly amazed me was the fear the enemy had at the possibility of me saying Jesus. I knew then that there is real power in the name of Jesus and that the devils fear it.

Many times, over the years I have read stories or listened to testimonies of the righteous that cried out to God for help, and He answered quickly! You will never get a busy signal when it comes to God, He is always ready to listen, and show Himself strong on your behalf.

Ephesians 6:10 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
