Revelation 12:11

And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.

I’ve often thought that if I ever were to get a tattoo this would have to be it. A mark that would show the enemy that there is no turning back and a reminder to myself as well. The blood of the Lamb refers to Jesus on the cross, Testimony is our witness before the Lord, and that we love His promise more than this life.

When I see this, it reminds me of a newspaper article I read about a Vietnamese man that moved to our community in the 1980's. After the war he stayed with fellow soldiers to continue the fight against communism. All the men willing had a tattoo printed on their chest that identified them as soldiers fighting for freedom, surrender would never be an option, no turning back.

When life’s stresses get you down and you feel like giving up, take a moment to have communion with the Lord.

The New Wine represents the blood, the Bread represents Jesus’s body and Jesus is the word of God, this is your testimony to the Lord.

Make your testimony say; "I'll Never Turn Back, I'll Never Give Up Serving The Lord!"
