We Choose November 4
Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it.
There is no profit in the dust. In the end, the only things that are profitable are what you have laid up in the spirit.
Some things do not exist, a belief that there will be no judgment, that after you die, you no longer exist.
When I first became a Christian, I asked my friend, Charles, how atheists could believe nothing after death?
He said, “look at that tree and just pretend it’s not there; that’s the way they think.”
You can pretend all you want, God in His infinite wisdom gave us free will, a will to make a choice:
I have set before you life or death, blessing or curse. Oh, that you would choose life…
How do we choose life? Simple:
That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
For with the heart, man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
We choose what we believe.
