Galatians 3:6, just as Abraham "BELIEVED GOD, AND IT WAS ACCOUNTED TO HIM FOR RIGHTEOUSNESS."

Happy New Year! I prayed and asked the Lord to please give me a prophetic word for my listening audience and those that receive my devotionals. The Lord gave me a unique word that will bless you. But, like a sword, this could be a double edge; it cuts both positively and negatively. It is a four-part word. As I prayed, about 2023, I heard the Lord say:

“Joy & Hope”

I’ll admit I questioned that, with the economic times we are in and the chaos consuming the world, I was perplexed. I summoned all my intellect and asked the most thought-out question I could come up with, “How?”. Then the Lord responded with the same sentence twice, but the first time, He somehow posed it as a question, and the second time He positioned it as a statement. The tone and pitch in His voice were higher for the question's end. However, He used the same tone and pitch for the statement.

“What the New Year may bring?”

And,

“What the New Year may bring.”

Next, He gave me the key to understanding why He positioned the question into two formats. And here is the next word and the final word that will dictate your New Year:

“What you will say.”

Our own words will determine 2023; that’s why He positioned it as a question and a statement. The question is, what will you say about yourself? What will you believe for yourself? Be careful with your words in 2023. The sword can cut with both sides; if you say things will go wrong, they will. To obtain the Joy & Hope that 2023 has to offer, please speak blessings into your life. e.g., Thank you, Lord, for the abundant blessings, for opening doors that appeared to be locked, and for the great blessings you bring that I may exalt your name!
