Happy Shavu'ot! May 18

Deuteronomy 16: 9-10-11(Transliteration Bible)

Seven weeks shall you number unto you: begin to number

the seven weeks from such a time you begin to put the

sickle to the grain.

And you shall keep the Feast of Shavu’ot unto YAHUAH ELOHAYKA with a tribute of a freewill offering of your hand, which you shall give unto YAHUAH ELOHAYKA, according as YAHUAH ELOHAYKA has blessed you:

And you shall rejoice before YAHUAH ELOHAYKA

Shavuot 2018 Began Saturday, May 19th at Sunset and ended Monday, May 21 at nightfall. SHAVUOT simply Means, ‘WEEKS’ so its called the, ‘Feast of Weeks’ and we find this in the bible in the book of Deuteronomy.

YAHUAH ELOHAYKA means THE LORD YOUR GOD

Our English bibles the King James and others will read: The Lord Thy God, but to me, it seems like we miss God's love & commitment toward us by using this name and tend to look at it more like a title. By using the transliteration, we can see the personalization of His name towards you.

What was the purpose of this Feast of Weeks (Shavu’ot?)

Well it commemorates YAHUAH ELOHAYKA (THE LORD YOUR GOD) giving the Ten Commandments to Moses. The written word of God to all the people, this truly was a gift from God.

The Jewish have some different oral traditions regarding the Feast of Weeks past down through the generations. One is that the Jewish people were sleeping when Moses came down from the mountain top with the commandments and they overslept missing the importance of the event.

Throughout Israel people will stay awake for the entire Feast and have scripture studies (bible studies) with their friends and family all night long so that they won’t be caught sleeping again.

Shavu’ot is very important to the Hebrews it’s fifty days after Passover. Now the word fifty in Greek is pronounced:

Pen-tay-kos-tay' which is where we get the name Pentecost & Pentecost means fifty and Pentecost brings us to:

Acts 2:1-4

AND when the day of Shavu’ot was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.

2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.

3 And there appeared to them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.

4 And they were all filled with the RAUCH HAQODESH, and began to speak with other tongues, as the RAUCH gave them utterance.

RAUCH HAQODESH means: HOLY GHOST, HOLY SPIRIT & RAUCH MEANS: SPIRIT!

On the day of Pentecost God wrote His word on man's heart! We no longer have to go to the temple mount to communicate with the Lord He can speak directly to us & through us which has always been His desire, to speak with you! Now you can tie the old testament with the new testament.

God has a plan and you're in it.

He is: YAHUAH ELOHAYKA

THE LORD YOUR GOD!

BLESSING'S
