Isaiah 55:8-9

"For My thoughts are not your thoughts, nor are your ways My ways," says the Lord. "For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways, And My thoughts higher than your thoughts."

The world is a very complex place, and sometimes you find yourself saying: "Why?"

It seems like you've been through more than enough, but enough just won't stop. One time during ministry, a man came up to me for prayer, and the Lord very clearly said: "He is Blessed with the circumstances of life!"

He didn't say a word, moments later, I looked over, and he was sitting in a chair with tears streaming down his face.

Years ago, a company was transporting a specific type of live codfish from the east coast to the west coast for sale. This codfish was delicious eating on the east coast, but by the time it made it to the west coast, the fish didn't taste the same. It turned out the fish were too relaxed in the fish tanks and just enjoyed the ride.

The company came up with a strategy to keep the fish healthy along the trip. They started placing sea catfish in the tanks along with the codfish, turns out the sea catfish are natural enemies to the cod. This constant battle kept the cod firm during the trip. When they arrived for dinner on the west coast, they tasted pretty good.

I know we want our lives to sail along without any struggles, but what would we be in God's eyes? Just a person that said they served God as long as everything went well. Offer your life up as a sacrifice of praise when things go well, rejoice when things aren't going so well, trust in God that He is knowledgeable. Somehow this will work out to your good.

Isaiah 55:11

So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth, it shall not return to me void, but it shall accomplish what I please, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.
