It takes time.. February 9

Hebrews 5:14

But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.

What is strong meat, is it like a steak that lifts weights? Actually, it comes from the Greek word ster-eh-os’ which means solid, stable, steadfast, or sure. In addition to this Paul adds the word meat, which also originated from a Greek word; trof-ay' being defined as, Nourishment, rations, wages, or food.

We are encouraged to pursue strong meat, a solid and stable lifestyle. How do we get this strong meat? Find a good church with a good pastor, an anointed minister that can teach you the uncompromising word of God. It takes allot of courage to get up in front of people and speak the truth about sin, especially when someone walks in that you know is in this sin. Your first thought is how did they end up here today? The Holy Spirit that’s how, He knew that person needed to hear the truth.

But in the prophetic arena you need to be able to recognize when the enemy is trying to fool you into making a prophetic word that could mislead someone from Christ. This is how you exercise your senses to know both good and evil. Does the word match up to the bible? Does it edify the hearer?

I once heard a Navy Admiral say “You can’t be a good leader until you have learned how to be a good follower” Love to follow so that you can be loved when you get to lead.
