What are you Wearing? August 27
Titus 1:15
Unto the pure all things are pure: but unto them that are defiled, and unbelieving is nothing pure; but even their mind and conscience is defiled.
I've noticed, over the years certain people that are dishonest in business believe everyone is corrupt. It hurts a little when they accuse me of the same. I know they impute this towards me because they are unconsciously projecting their values onto me.
The very next verse 1:16 reads:
They profess that they know God, but in works they deny Him…
Sometimes I think this should read: but at work, they deny Him.
Many people go to church on Sunday and then on Monday at work, there, 'just one of the guys'. I think the greatest compliment I ever heard was when Judy's boss told her, "You wear your Christianity well."
Think of it like this, your mind is a hotdog, and the devil wants to roast it over the fire. That's what sin does, it sears your conscience, and if it gets burned too bad, he takes it and throws it in the fire!
Put some Armour on that hotdog, and keep your mind renewed by reading your bible today. Check your spiritual condition, take thought of what you think about others. Think the best about people.
