Things to Remember June 6
II Timothy 1:6
Wherefore I put thee in remembrance that thou stir up the gift of God, which is in thee by the putting on of my hands.
Sometimes it’s easy to forget who we are in Christ. But I think that when we get fatigued physically and mentally, this is called Lethargy.
For months, I struggled with exhaustion. I went to the doctors, the cardiologist, the hospital for dye tests, and everything was fine. It made no sense as to why I was always so exhausted. I thought maybe my time had come. Then one morning I sat down for prayer. The Lord said, “Rebuke a spirit of Lethargy.” As soon as I said those words, I felt a cloud lift off every part of my body, and I felt great!
I don’t know why the Lord let me go through all that, no telling how many times He had spoken to me about things and given prophetic words for others. But the enemy was trying to quench the Spirit within me. Jesus renewed my strength. When your pastor lays hands on you and prays, those prayers go back to the very hands of Jesus. That’s worth remembering.
