Tearing down the veils

John 12:40
He hath blinded their eyes, and he hardened their heart; Lest they should see with their eyes, and perceive with their heart, and should turn, and I should heal them.
Just a couple of days ago I saw a man that I have known for a while, I reached out and shook his hand; I noticed: “The secret handshake” of a specific cult group.
I said are you a blankety blank? He sheepishly said yes then as they are trained to do, went on to say he wasn’t that involved with it anymore. I laughed and said “No, I caught you, you’re still in it.” He laughed and I told him where it would lead him, and that just because he had made a covenant with darkness doesn’t mean that he will escape judgement (Isa. 28:18) He agreed, he told me his son wanted to get into it as well. Now it is trying to become generational.
I spoke with him some more and walked off and prayed silently to God and then direction came, ask if you can pray with him. I went back and asked if I could pray for him and he agreed. I asked God to remove the veil off his heart and to open the eyes of his understanding.
I think he does Love Jesus but the false promise of prosperity got him into the cult. Like a lost child thinking the forest is easy to get out of, until you’re in it for a while.
As soon as I laid hands on him I knew he would get back to the Lord because he unknowingly gave the Holy Spirit permission to go after him!
So when you pray for a lost loved one or a friend use:
Ephesians 1:18
