Get Your Mind Right January 5

Daniel 4:34

And at the end of the days I, Nebuchadnezzar, lifted up mine eyes unto heaven, and mine understanding returned unto me, and I blessed the Most High, and I praised and honored him that liveth for ever; for his dominion is an everlasting dominion, and his kingdom from generation to generation.

This is the great king Nebuchadnezzar that was lifted up with great pride and by a loving God brought down to insanity in order to save his soul, you can see that it worked.

Today I drove by a homeless man that I see often who is in a different state of mind. I prayed for him throughout the day, I pray that he will be given a right mind. Then this verse (Dan. 4:34) came to my memory as I prayed for him.

I recalled the times in my life where I have been given so much stress that I couldn’t even think straight and of other people that have had their hearts and minds blinded by circumstance.

Notice the first thing King Nebuchadnezzar did when he regained his mind was to Honor God and Praise His Name. You see, had he done this before he would have never gone through his seven years of tribulation.

When you get into a situation of stress open your bible to Psalm 91 and sing out loud to God, or do like I do just make your own song of praise and feel the praise wash the stress away.

Eph 5:19

Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord.
